Wild Hogs
At the end of July, I finished my 3-month stint in New Mexico, as “Wild Hogs” production came to a close. I’ll already really miss Martin, John and Bill. This movie was such a gas and it will show on screen.  What I won’t miss is such early mornings.  Despite spending three months on a Harley, I have indeed returned to L.A. is one piece. Love riding bikes. I will buy the custom Harley after the production is finished with it. I also am considering a sport bike for some track time. I am very interested in feeling the difference between cruisers and sport bikes on a track.

Vacation
And now some time to relax.  I spent a week in Michigan near the water visiting family and friends. And now just enjoying a two-week vacation in Colorado trying to avoid some mating Moose. The Rocky Mountains are so much a part of my childhood. I spend time clearing my land and acting quite the mountain man. Love this stuff.  Some kind of beetle is killing much of the forest here -- its startling the way nature works. Sad, so sad to see all the dead trees. I sense fall is coming, its especially shows at the higher elevations. I am sensitive to the change and not real fond of it. I already miss summer. LA is a blessing for me as it a bonus summer in September and October. Emotions, like the weather, change in me often.

Summer Comes to an End
After Labor Day weekend, we all start back to “school” and for me that means back to the office – business, creative projects, finding my next film, and preparing for the “Santa Clause 3” opening.  SC3 is finished; looks real fun and cool as hell visually. Marty Short makes a preposterous villain in the best of ways. I am still in shock that I worked with Ann Margret and Alan Arkin -- such pros and good comedy.

Next Film
I have read the posted forums asking if I have any plans to do a film that doesn’t involve kids, family, Santa and dogs.  Well…from my performances, Wild Hogs will not be for kids. This year I am missing being a Comic. I am seeking to capture my comedy roots.  My comedy, which if anyone has seen me live or on the new re-released DVD, is very adult in nature. The business question is will you all support more adult comedy and will the studios agree to move in that direction?  The obvious step is to do something less expensive, maybe even from my own company and perhaps even (GASP) direct it. I have worked to give myself some options. We are hard at work developing several big projects with more mature themes. I also have options on a very funny but rough language comedy I am considering as a Boxing Cat production.

Reading & World Thoughts
I am reading HOLY BLOOD HOLY GRAIL….just for relaxation?!  Found it in some gift shop while traveling.  Interesting and provocative but so many names and dates to hold in the mind to gain the intended perspective.  Big secrets, mystery schools…conspiracies on a grand scale.  Interesting, but as with my path of study with advanced theories in physics, I say to myself at one point “so what” if not applicable to the here an now.  So much suffering -- so much blindness and distraction.

Unseen forces and hands play us, working systems and patterns at vibrations, like the high pitch dog whistle, beyond our senses.  Who will be our advocate?  Who will lend us a hand? Who will be our gatekeeper?  Guide us from this field to the next.
