About the Film

This romantic comedy centers around Brad and Caroline Sexton (TIM ALLEN, KIRSTIE ALLEY), a seemingly happily married couple and among the richest of New York City. It turns out Brad’s accountant (WAYNE KNIGHT) has shown a little bit of insincerity and soon Brad and Carol are wanted for tax evasion. So the couple, whose arguing as just escalated to a divorce are forced to go on the run and wind up at an Amish farm in Pennsylvania pretending to be “the cousins.” What ensues is a clash of two worlds: the comfortable New York City life Brad and Carol were used to, and the hard-working life they must lead in Amish country. They have no choice but to get used to the Amish ways or else the IRS will find them.
