About the Film
This part screwball comedy, part film noir, part romance and all-out adventure is about mistaken identities, a hit man who sees everything in terms of the movies and a twenty year old diamond heist. Trevor Finch, an escapee from prison (CHRISTIAN SLATER) who assumes the identity of a deceased man, Cletis Tout, soon discovers that Cletis had a mob contract on his head and Trevor winds up under the gun of hit man, Critical Jim (TIM ALLEN).
